Cleaning La Pineda with Good Karma and SurfRider

Beach clean-ups allow us to raise awareness, get people involved, and grasp the gravity of the situation. Our goal is to get as many people involved as we can so they can see the impact of their actions on the environment -- whether positive or negative. 

Collaboration is very important and there are many ways to do it. Spread, share, and come to our clean-ups!

Clic Recycle separates the collection of waste after picking it up, as a waste manager, and our partners assist in the process.

In the photos below, Good Karma and Surfrider assisted in a beach clean-up on Reus la Pineda which is terribly polluted. 

.⚠️On Saturday we collected 800,000 pellets in 2h in an area of ​​938m2⚠️. Millions of these balls are concentrated on the beach of La Pineda📍in all kinds of colors.

Plastic pollution is tremendously prevalent on this beach so Clic Recycle along with its partners is working to raise awareness and get the help of the administration. 

Clean-up events are important to the process of reporting this problem that has gone unnoticed for too long. 

Microplastics are incredibly harmful to both the natural environment and the human population.
